Rao’s Opens Next Week
Rao’s Restaurant Group, a culinary national treasure widely acclaimed for its authentic, southern Neapolitan Italian cooking and home-style family ambiance, announced it’s opening a location in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, October 25. The restaurant is located within the St. Moritz Tower, at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
Rao’s opened 127 years ago in Harlem, New York and is celebrated as one of the oldest family owned and operated restaurants in the country. Staying true to original family recipes and dedicated to honoring the restaurant’s legacy, Rao’s co-owners Frank Pellegrino Jr. and Ron Straci maintain a menu that pairs generations of authenticity and love with freshness and flavor.
Rao’s Miami opens with dinner service seven days a week and offers a variety of traditional Rao’s classics including the legendary Rao’s Traditional Meatballs and Uncle Vincent’s Lemon Chicken, combined with contemporary dishes created specifically for the Miami location. Guests will experience the same level of comfort and service that they’re accustomed to in other locations, such as New York and Los Angeles. Reservations are available on Resy.com.
New Tasting Menu at Eating House
Eating House has launched their brand-new Miami Tasting Menu! Available only Tuesdays through Thursdays for dinner, this special 7 course tasting menu pays homage to some of the most legendary Miami eateries with a gastronomical twist. This curated prix-fixe features dishes inspired by Garcia’s, Flanigan’s, Los Perros, Matsuri, A.C’s Icees and more! For $59 per person, this limited-edition tasting menu is available from now through November 30.
Dish highlights include The Big Cheese Rigatoni made with ‘Garlic Roll’ Butter, parmigiano, breadcrumbs and parsley, Flanigan’s inspired Smoked Pork Rolls made with slow cooked onion, cheddar and roasted garlic ranch, and Los Perros’ Inspired Maicito made with burnt corn, sofrito, queso blanco, roasted pineapple and crispy potatoes.
Tropezón Extends Paella Sunday
Tropezón, the Andalusian inspired gin + tapas bar located in the hidden corridors of Espanola Way, is pleased to announce it has extended its popular Paella Sundays due to high demand. Paella Sundays take place weekly during dinner service every Sunday.
Priced at $55 per person, the eatery will offer a special Paella menu with 5 paella options to choose from such as duck, squid + chorizo, fish + shrimp, grilled presa (pork shoulder)and mushroom paella.

Fiola Miami Debuts Sunday Family Dinner
Beloved Coral Gables Italian inspired restaurant is giving diners yet another reason to flock to the Gables for dinner with its new Sunday Family Dinner. Honoring the age-old Italian tradition of gathering friends and family around the table to feast on Sunday evenings, Fiola’s new three course prix-fixe dinner menu features exclusive dishes only available during Sunday dinner service.
Dishes include Chicken Scarpariello, Sweet & Spicy Peppers, Fennel Sausage, Chicken Sugo; and an indulgent Akaushi Wagyu Beef Cheek Lasagna, Pomodoro, Parmigiano Reggiano. Sunday Family Dinner is priced at $65 per person.

Aba Hosts Grecian Wine Dinner
Aba, the lush Mediterranean restaurant located at Miami’s lux Bal Harbour Shops, invites guests to experience a special evening of Grecian wine paired with an exclusive four-course, mezze-style menu carefully curated by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 PM.
The dinner will feature dishes inspired by Greek cuisine made with local ingredients. Celebrated Chef Jacobson will be joined by winemaker George Skouras who curated a list of wines that pair perfectly with each dish from the Domaine Skouras vineyards in Argolida, Corinthia region and Nemea.
Tickets to the Grecian Wine Dinner are $124.95 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included). Please note, this event will include some communal seating and will take place in Aba’s second level mezzanine dining room. Click here for tickets.
