New Menu at Margot Natural Wine Bar

Margot Natural Wine Bar is excited to announce a vibrant new menu debuting on October 5, 2023. Bar Lab partners, Elad Zvi and Gabe Orta, the award-winning team behind Broken Shaker, 27 Restaurant, Jolene Sound Room and more, joined with acclaimed Chef Hedy Goldsmith for this culinary collaboration. Nestled in the iconic Ingraham building in Downtown Miami’s Flagler St. district, the natural wine bar is poised to captivate Miami’s food and beverage scene like never before. Since opening in 2021, Margot has consistently been named a “Best Wine Bar” in Miami by national and local major media alike.

At the helm of the reimagined menu is the talented Chef Hedy Goldsmith. With a remarkable career that has helped shape Miami’s culinary scene, Chef Hedy brings a unique touch to Margot Natural Wine Bar. Her credibility as a James Beard Award Finalist and pastry chef for Michael’s Genuine adds a unique layer of expertise to the revamp of Margot’s menu.

“Gabe and Elad’s high energy and work ethic have always attracted me and helping them develop Margot’s new menu made perfect sense,” says Chef Hedy Goldsmith. “We created a savory sharing menu that works in harmony with organic wines to be fresh, light, and clean. We‘re engaging every inch of the palate — sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami — while also allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves.”

Margot’s Chef Ashley Abodeely and Sommelier Mariel Dalmau have played instrumental roles working alongside Chef Hedy in creating the perfect tapas-style menu that seamlessly pairs with the extensive natural wine list. Menu highlights include the Signature Margot Grilled Cheese, the Tuna Nicoise Tartine and the Tinned Fish Board. These options thoughtfully complement the diverse range of natural wines featured on the menu, which includes over 75+ options in bubbles, whites, reds, roses, skin-contact and beyond.

Margot Natural Wine Bar’s culinary refresh coincides with the growth of Downtown Miami, exemplified by the recent opening of Bar Lab’s Jolene Sound Room, the launch of Julia & Henry’s culinary hall, and Tam Tam to name a few. This vibrant neighborhood continues to solidify itself as a nightlife hotspot, offering a range of experiences, from date nights to happy hours, late night outings and leisurely lunches.

Set in an airy space with a color palette inspired by the variety of beautiful tones found in natural wines, Margot embraces the feminine endeavor — from the wine producers to the art selection.

Danya Hachey of MaD Artistic, who has served as Bar Lab’s creative director since the original Broken Shaker pop-up in 2012, headed the original design of Margot and will be rolling out additional updated touches in the weeks to come. Danya opted to uncover and feature as much of the historical building’s original details as possible, incorporating them into her 70’s Scandinavian meets 80’s Italian design. To bring her vision to life, Danya collaborated with designer/architect Michael Dolatowski, creating a harmonious blend of design styles and bygone times.
