Maman Arrives in Wynwood

maman, New York City’s beloved, French-inspired all-day café and bakery from co-founders Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, is thrilled to announce the opening of its first South Florida location in Miami on February 9, 2024. Located at Sentral Wynwood, maman’s new flagship location will bring its fan-favorite salads, sandwiches, and made-famous-by-Oprah Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies to the Miami community. Following the opening of the Wynwood location, maman plans to continue to expand throughout South Florida in neighborhoods including Coral Gables, West Palm Beach and Brickell, among others.

In true maman fashion, the Wynwood café boasts decor and imported French antique furniture all drawing inspiration from the provincial South of France, along with a custom floral facade hand painted by artist Joel Haynes, custom handmade hanging light fixtures made from concrete, seashells and natural materials, and hand-stenciled floors and walls.

Playing a nod to the local Miami vegetation, there will also be whimsical floral installations by Floratorium adorning the walls and ceilings, incorporating Spanish moss and airplants to create banyan-esque style trees. MamanWynwood will also have custom toile printed espresso machines for the location and imported blue and white tiles on the counter facade and in the bathrooms. Every design adapts and applies Maman brand standards, cultivating a cohesive and home-like ambiance throughout the dining areas, bars, open kitchens, and coffee components.

Guests can enjoy a full pastry, savory and beverage menu plus seasonal specials and offerings exclusive to the Wynwood location including Creme Fraiche Pancakes, Turmeric Orzo Salad, Matcha Affogato, a New York Croissant Sandwich, and maman’s fruit basket, a guava filled croissant adorned with tropical fruit, a miami exclusive.. The café will offer full service brunch on the weekends, alcoholic beverages including beer and wine, and will be available for private and semi private events.

Maman Wynwood is located at 69 NW 26th Street and will be open daily from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on weekends
