Summer Collab Series at MILA Omakase
This summer, MILA Omakase is rewriting the rules of the seasonal slowdown. On Tuesday, July 14th, the restaurant opens its new Summer Collaboration Series with a one-night-only dinner alongside Barra Callao, Miami’s celebrated Peruvian Nikkei kitchen, a pairing that trades the familiar single-restaurant tasting menu for something rarer: two culinary philosophies, conceived together and served side by side at a single ten-seat counter.
Unlike a typical guest-chef takeover, this menu was built by both kitchens together. Across twelve courses, six from each team, the quiet precision of Edomae omakase sits alongside the vibrant, citrus-driven flavors of Peruvian Nikkei cuisine.
The dinner marks the first of several reciprocal takeovers planned across the season, with MILA’s team travelling to Barra Callao later in the series to return the exchange on Barra Callao’s own terms. The series continues in August with a second collaboration, partner still to be revealed, as MILA carries the same spirit of exclusivity through the rest of the summer.

Peruvian Independence Day at Jarana
Jarana Peruvian Cuisine & Pisco Bar will celebrate Peruvian Independence Day with live música criolla and performances by traditional Peruvian dancers, bringing the spirit, energy, and culture of Peru to life. The festive dining experience will feature a specially curated Peruvian buffet to start, followed by a choice of traditional entrée including Chaufa Aeropuerto, Ají de Gallina, Seco de Res, Carapulcra with Fried Pork Belly, or Lomo Saltado (available with a supplemental charge). Guests will also enjoy a chef-selected dessert served family-style and one complimentary Pisco Sour.
