Wag Wednesday: Peter Vauthy & Capone and Peanut

wag-wednesday

Over the past year, we’ve interviewed many members of the hospitality industry, and one constant among the interviewees has been a profound love for their pets. We thought it would be great to share this love with our readers. That’s why we recently launched an ongoing feature called “Wag Wednesday” to showcase industry peeps and their pets.

This week, we’re featuring the Executive Chef of one of our favorite steakhouses: Peter Vauthy of Red, The Steakhouse. Read on to find out more about him and his dogs Capone and Peanut. Read more

#FindMeAHomeFriday: Pugley – Tongue & Cheek

Short Rib Nachos from Tongue & Cheek in Miami Beach

This is Pugley. He’s 12 years old and great with kids and other dogs. He loves sitting on his human’s lap and being their shadow.

He doesn’t have the best eye sight so you have to be careful about sneaking up on him, but he’s happy to be carried around all day. He really just wants to be with people who want to snuggle! For more information on this snuggly pug, visit his adoption page.

#FindMeAHomeFriday is a campaign by Compassionate Pug Rescue and Miami Food Pug to help South Florida pugs find a forever home. Each Friday in September, we will be photoshopping a rescue pug available for adoption into an MFP food picture. For more details on the original campaign, visit the campaign page.

A few weeks back, the media invite arrived and we found ourselves in the former Catch space at 1545 Collins Avenue. Would Byblos’s Eastern Mediterranean fare impress us after all these months?
