Miami Whiskey Mash Celebrates 10 Years

MIAMI WHISKEY MASH™, a celebration of fine whiskies from around the world, returns for its ninth year on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. The main event will take place at the beautiful Coral Gables Country Club (990 Alhambra Circle) from 4pm to 8pm.

The MIAMI WHISKEY MASH™ brings together different expressions of whiskies (and other spirits) from around the world, this is the largest whiskey event in Miami. Attendees will be able to enjoy tastings of whiskies and cocktails, plus delicious light bites from local restaurants, live music an outdoor cigar lounge, live art, and much more.

The main event highlights today’s resurgent whisk(e)y culture. The event also provides the opportunity for consumers to learn, interact, and truly experience the “spirit” of the industry. Tickets start at $100 and are extremely limited. Tickets available at MWM2025.eventbrite.com.

Earth Month at CLAUDIE

CLAUDIE, Brickell’s newest French-Mediterranean restaurant, is proud to present La Pastorita, a bold, sustainable cocktail that celebrates Earth Month and supports reforestation efforts.

Available across all Riviera Dining Group venues, proceeds from every drink will benefit One Tree Planted in its global reforestation initiatives. Crafted with cilantro-sesame-infused Lost Explorer Mezcal, basil cordial, pineapple serrano, tepache, and a recycled pineapple garnish, La Pastorita transforms every part of the pineapple into pure magic. Sponsored by The Lost Explorer, this cocktail is a refreshing, tropical tribute to sustainable craftsmanship.

 

Nigiri Nights at SHINGO

Coral Gables’ critically acclaimed omakase restaurant, SHINGO, is introducing a new menu for the summer aptly named, Nigiri Nights.

Available Tuesday and Wednesdays beginning May through September, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a nigiri-focused, 16-course omakase experience carefully curated and seasonally selected from Chef Shingo Akikuni for $180 per guest.

Available twice nightly at 6 and 9PM at the omakase counter, Chef Akikuni will guide guests through the entire experience. Following the experience, guests can also explore the restaurant’s art gallery that features a number of works from Japanese artists.

 

National Empanada Day at River House Wine & Bar

Visit the newly opened River House Wine & Bar, a charming wine patio located between the vibrant neighborhoods of Brickell and Little Havana, and celebrate National Empanada Day (April 8) all week long. Savor handmade baked empanadas including prime skirt steak, spinach, and ham & cheese offerings.

From Tuesday, April 8 through Sunday, April 13, enjoy the specially priced Empanada Tasting ($10) and personalize your plate with your choice of three flavor options. Nestled within the historic River Inn, the hidden gem invites guests to experience a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, complete with a full bar featuring craft cocktails, a curated international wine selection, artisanal charcuterie, brick-wood oven pizza, and live music under the stars. River House Wine & Bar is now open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
