The 27 Club, a music-inspired coffee concept founded by musician mgk (Colson Baker), is set to open its second location in the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, Florida in Summer 2026. Building on the success of its original flagship in Cleveland, The 27 Club continues to blend high-quality coffee, culture, and community into a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience. Chowhound and Tasting Table named The 27 Club one of “The Best Celebrity-Owned Coffee Brands” in 2025, and Cleveland Magazine named the flagship one of the “Shops and Cafes we Love” in 2023.
Located in the heart of Wynwood—known for its dynamic art scene and creative energy—the new space will expand beyond coffee, with a full-service kitchen and bar. Guests can expect an elevated menu of coffee sourced from the highest quality farms from around the world, curated food offerings, and a lively atmosphere that seamlessly transitions from daytime café to evening social destination.
The Miami opening marks a significant milestone for the brand as it grows its footprint while staying true to its roots in music, artistry, and community.
The original Cleveland location quickly became a staple for both locals and visitors, known for its unique aesthetic and lifestyle-driven approach. The Miami expansion aims to build on that momentum while embracing the distinct flavor and creativity of the Wynwood district.
The 27 Club Miami is slated to open in Summer 2026.
Mahjong and Mingle at Burlock Coast
Mahjong is having a moment, and Burlock Coast is bringing a fresh take to the table.
As the game continues to pop up across social circles, Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale is introducing Mahjong & Mingle, a new social series that blends learning, playing and a polished coastal setting.
Led by Kari Long of Mahj on the Beach, guests can ease in with Mahjong 101, covering the essentials from tiles to strategy, or opt for open play in a relaxed, social environment. Each session includes a welcome cocktail, grazing snack board and full Mahjong setup, with an à la carte menu available.

Thursday, June 4 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Mahjong 101 is $70+ and open play is $40+. Seating is intentionally limited, with 16 lesson spots and eight open play seats per session.
Nigiri Nights Return to SHINGO
This summer, SHINGO is reviving one of Miami’s most intimate dining experiences with the return of Nigiri Nights beginning June 1.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer, Chef Shingo Akikuni leads guests through a 16-course nigiri experience rooted in the season’s finest offerings at the omakase counter. At $180 per person, with seatings at 6 and 8:30 PM, it is an evening designed to be savored from start to finish. Reservations for June open May 1.
The experience extends beyond the counter. Following dinner, guests are invited to explore SHINGO’s gallery, which features a thoughtfully assembled collection of works by Japanese artists.
Sweet Paris Turns 14
Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café turns 14! This year, for the first time, the beloved brand is turning its birthday (May) into a month-long celebration complete with limited-time-only, birthday-inspired menu items and a festive event on the big day itself – Saturday, May 16, 2026.
More than a decade old and now with 30 locations in the states and Mexico, Sweet Paris rocks three restaurants in South Florida – Downtown Doral, Coral Gables and Miami’s Worldcenter. Popular for its Parisian-inspired design and charm, savory and sweet menu offerings (with crêpes, naturally, at its heart) and its stylish, casually-chic atmosphere, Sweet Paris is a go-to destination for all-day casual dining, and one of the city’s finest cups of coffee.

Birthday Cake Latte – warm latte infused with birthday cake syrup, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
Birthday Funfetti Waffles – a freshly-made funfetti waffle topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
